i agree with all of your points op.
MS really did nothing wrong. they may have hurt gamers on PS3 with their timed DLC/exclusives and what not but that's the nature of the business.
Sony really didn't do anything wrong either. yea hacks, second coming's, bad marketing, but look at what they've provided the gamers.
Nintendo's only real fault was not making Wii with traditional controllers. yea i know wii had the classic controller, but you had to purchase it as a separate device, which shouldn't have been the case.
all in all as gaming companies, they all did something the other didn't and that speaks volumes, thus the reason for the type of success they had this gen.
