What qualifies as a "mature" game?

Maturity isn't easily defined. What I said, though, would easily take out non-mature people.

Actually, if a game's target audience was made clear to retailers, and perhaps even printed on the box, a lot problems could be avoided. But I don't think the current ratings system does this adaquately... or is even meant for such a purpose.

You misunderstand me. I said solely to an older audience. Angry Birds appeals to a wider demographic.
