They try to serve customers that are underserved, but the main problem with their games is that they have no soul. Well, neither do a lot of the games they copy, I guess.
What I'm trying to say is that there are phone devs out there who have a passionate love for what they create, and you can feel that in the game. Gameloft just doesn't have it. Their games look right, and they check off the right feature list, but they just don't feel right.
