I think they have done a misstake with not releasing it for the PS3 because this game sold better in europe then in NA, and the Playstation dominates the eruopean market.

Now take into account how easy it would have been for them to port a 360 game to PS3, which, even though it has a different architecture is actually pretty easy for other development teams whereas the port from PC to 360 is much more doable, and probably cost them less, but that's not the point here. It's also their first console venture, but taking risks can be fun, and they could even outsource it to a different development team based in poland (It's cheaper than say, a US company), that way they won't be investing more than needed by doing it themselves.

Fixed for you :)

PC -> X360 -> PS3, another port venture? to what end? Without the guarantee that the game would be a success on 360 in the first place, to what end would they spend even more capital to port to PS3? 360 likes WRPG's, Skyrim is a much bigger success in US and it's numbers are close in Europe despite the usual difference in numbers, in favour of PS3. Whichever way you look at it, the porting to 360 seemed like a more viable and safer option. I'd be interesting to know if any US companies would be willing to pick up the port, as year old ports tend not to sell blockbusters.. Risks or not, they're not exactly the biggest or well known developers, obviously did what they can afford and had time for.
