I didn't say there is no difference... I said to see the difference you have to be close of the TV (less than 5 feets or 1.5 meters).
I play my games at about 2.5 meters from the 51" TV... there are no difference for me.
Of course... the difference exists and it's huge if you are close.

5 ft is more for 32"... 42" or more is more like 10 ft... the screen size matters here.
