Humans are effecting the environment some. I think like 1% or so of the carbon dioxide is released by us. So in other word we are helping, but not by very much. I think that we are overrating but at the same time its good, since while we don't really effect the environment enough for it to matter yet, that could easily change within a 100 years or so. Good that we start to care before its too late.
