While I understand his frustration with used game sales (and especially with piracy), his support of a used-game-blocking feature is worrisome. I'm grateful that I can afford to pick up any game I want new these days, but there was a time when I would have just skipped a game in favor of a "must-buy" if not for the discounts offered by getting it used. I'm sure a lot of gamers can empathize. Besides, getting a game used and really liking it can make a sequel someone's "must-buy" that they never would have considered otherwise, and this man's willingness to see the death of an entire subindustry that helps people in such a situation is disappointing.
