I despise high TTK. That's the main reason I hate Gears of War and don't play Halo (even though I somewhat like it). I hate games where you pump a full clip into a guy's chest and he walks it off since it wasn't a headshot or whatever...I'm sorry all I shot up was his heart, liver, kidneys and lungs but not his brain... I like low TTK because it's based on reaction time and quick aim rather than who can jump around more while getting headshots (Halo) or who can roll around more and then shotgun each other (Gears of War) My favourite online shooters are Call of Duty 4 and Rainbow Six Vegas, both low TTK games.

I like high TTK because it's based on reaction time and quick aim rather then who can shoot the other from behind before they can turn around. The chase, trying to hit a moving target, anticipating where the enemy is running to to throw grenades in his path or aim a rocket at the ground where he will be is where the fun is at for me.
low TTK games attract too many campers for my liking.

Yep, my feelings as well.... a lower TTK means it is more strategic out of combat (people have to know as much as they can about where people are or else find a place they can see people coming, which leads to snipers and shotgunners hiding in corridors) wheras a higher TTK means there can be strategy during combat, such as circle strafing and using the environment around you to help fight back.

And that's exactly what we want in an shooter, isn't it? More snipers and campers. =.=
