I despise high TTK. That's the main reason I hate Gears of War and don't play Halo (even though I somewhat like it). I hate games where you pump a full clip into a guy's chest and he walks it off since it wasn't a headshot or whatever...I'm sorry all I shot up was his heart, liver, kidneys and lungs but not his brain...
I like low TTK because it's based on reaction time and quick aim rather than who can jump around more while getting headshots (Halo) or who can roll around more and then shotgun each other (Gears of War)
My favourite online shooters are Call of Duty 4 and Rainbow Six Vegas, both low TTK games.
