whats with all the complaints about the controls needing to be re-centred quite frequently.Ive never had to do it once and found the controls a complete joy. Have u guys got your sensor bar on the ceiling or something??

I'm not sure how this happens but I tend to rest my arms on my legs, my sensor bar is at the bottom of my TV and I guess the Wiimote has a slight downward angle so when I select the bow it registers that as my default position.

Skyward Sword doesn't use the sensor bar, that's the problem most people are having. After five years they assume that aiming is done that way (and rightly so), but it doesn't work that way in SS. In other games where you switch from a normal perspective into aim mode (like Resident Evil 4), an experienced player already has a good feeling where he needs to point at before the cursor even comes up on screen. So, for example, people point at the top left of the screen because that's where their target is. But...

Skyward Sword registers this position as the center, so in order to actually aim at the top left, the Wiimote needs to be moved in an awkward position which leads to the conclusion that the controls suck. And in this example, pointing to the center of the screen would result in Link aiming at the bottom right, the opposite of what you are trying to do.

I see... I really don't get why Nintendo messed with the way it worked in Twilight Princess which was perfect.
