will be big...

still worth buying... expect $1000 per share at some point in the next couple of years.

hell no.

Actually I am long put on this one. Gigantic bubble building up. Just a matter of time till it bursts. Could be next year or later. No way it is on the way to more than double the market cap of ExxonMobil (Think about it, one with a extraction of 840 million barrel oil per year, which is 20% of the imported oil by the USA) , the other one building smartphones). It is 2000 all over again. Especially with 3 successful products on the market. The iPhone still makes 50% of the whole revenue of Apple. It still is a cell phone in a very volatile market. Look how fast Blackberry dropped, look how fast Android went up, look how fast Samsung became the biggest manufacturer for cell phones.

So far the shares are driven by the thought that Apple will innovate the next big thing as well. If Google, Microsoft, Samsung or any other company in this industry does, Apple shares will go down rapidly.

But that is the beauty of investment: You never know, so you assume. And assumption is mother of all fuck ups.

we'll see

I see the iphone 5, ipad4 and iTV pushing big big big numbers.

China is suddenly getting into the iphone thing... its all uphill from here, mark my words.

Buy Samsung, Apple and MS.

iPad and iPhone will continue to be successful for the next 2 years at least, no doubt about it. I wait for the moment people get their expectations right. Some actually think Apple will be as dominant for hardware as MS is for OS / office software and Google is for search. This is not going to happen.

iTV will be the first step down. The success of Apple is built on portable products. Look at Apple TV, selling for $99 and not doing well at all. And an iTV will erase a very big part of Apple fans (teenagers) who can't afford to spend 2000 Euros for a new TV - and I doubt Apple will go the LG route to get a competitive pricing.
