Apparently nobody has heard the term "Home Invasion"? I live in a very small town and there were multiple home invasions in recent years. Two that come to mind are
1. A guy and his friends invaded a home to beat up his girlfriend because she was pregnant and wouldn't have an abortion.
2. A group of guys (including the son of a former fellow officer--I knew this kid personally!) broke into a house where an old man lived.
Of course, there have been more. My town is relatively safe compared to counties directly to our north, south, east, and west, but these things happen. A few times, they've ended in murder. The shooting in the OP didn't even take place in the United States but I can't condemn the guy for having a gun. I can condemn him for having a gun and being stupid. The world is not a safe place. I hope that you guys that want guns outlawed never have to find out how dangerous it really is.
