I have all three. Personally I like plasma better, for a few reasons. 1 price I got a Samsung 50" 3d tv 1-2 yrs ago for 1200$. It was a slim design @1.2 inch thick and light around 50 pounds with stand. 3d image is pretty good to. My Samsung 40inch LCD would be my second choice. With led dead last by far. The led color was terrible, ghosting was aweful, and of you plan to use a pc forget the led it looks even worse. The led hyper white lights have a blue tint in them( all led are this way some are closer to true white than others ). These hyper white LEDs are what cause the wash out. I also have a 60" sharp Quattron tv it's ok however none can stand close to my plasma. Also I made almost zero alterations to my settings minus brightness/contrast.
So the downside to my plasma it consumes over 300 watts compared to 120 for my LCD and well under 100 for the led ( these figures are different depending on size). With higher power consumption comes hotter temps. The plasma in my office/w door closed would raise the room temp a good 2-3 degrees. plus playing pc games sitting real close you would feel the heat. Well there is my thoughts on the subject but it will come down to you.
