Dance clubs *do* suck though.

To be totally honest, however, it does sound like the OP needs to aim a little higher for his life. A one-bedroom apartment isn't bad, but (and i really hate to say this because this is the problem i'm about to have in spades) a more ambitious job certainly wouldn't hurt
