i play Xenoblade right now, with TLS following early next month. I think Monolith really created a great game there, lots of stuff to do, a good story, refreshing battle system (almost MMORPG-like,.. or, instead, think of White Knight Chronicles II and FFXII making a Baby lol) that actually WORKS, and beautiful environments.
i didnt regret dusting off my Wii for it so far, i am around 40 Hours in.

The only one I've played so far is Xenoblade and I agree with your comments regarding it, but it did have some letdowns for me. While the enviroments are beautiful to look at, they're also extremely large and scarcely populated with things to do/kill/interact, which makes for some tedious and monotonous hours especially when you're doing one of the plethora of fetch quests. Also, I found the game to be too simplistic when it came to the battles per se and character management, which could have been better implemented.

Yeah, add to that the sometimes flawed animations in Cutscenes.

But i think its an amazingly good game nevertheless. =) (Not like the best RPG ever, but definetly one of the best Games on the Wii, imo. which is, truth be told, not a task that would be hard to accomplish, but Xenoblade deserves attention still.)
