Sharp, LG and Samsung are the safe bet. My 50 inch Vizio Plasma just recently died so I upgraded to a 60 inch Sharp Aquos LED smart TV. I did a lot of research and found for the value you can't go wrong with any of the top three I listed. Sony TV are great but comparing price to the other three brand it's just not worth the extra few hundred dollars.
