I think Blomkamp would have been amazing and would have made a film worthy of the game itself, judging by the short films alone we would have been in for a treat. A shame really. But I suppose the big studios wanted to capitalize on the name of Halo and create a shitty action movie akin to the shit that they churn out lately.
District 9 was awesome.
