I agree that if Microsoft releases something, Sony has to do it too immediately. They can't afford to lose marketshare. Invert the names and it's true too.
But in my opinion, they won't do it just because Nintendo did it, because their systems are somewhat competitive with Wii U and less expensive. Anyway, that's just what I think, but to me even a reveal this year seems unlikely. Next year, for sure.
