Artisans - Blacksmith
Like in Diablo II, the Blacksmith is in charge of weapons and armor but this time around his job has expended quite a bit.
Instead of merely selling off your unwanted pieces of magical equipment, you can now choose to salvage them in return for materials. The quality of the resulting materials is dependent on the original item salvaged so if you want rare materials, you'll gonna have to part with a rare item. Once you've amassed enough materials, you can use them to craft brand new weapons or armor pieces according to the available recipes.
To go along with the crafting and salvaging dynamic, you can now spend your hard earned gold pieces to help your good friend the Blacksmith upgrade his shop and skills giving you access to better crafting recipes and thus better equipment.
