As for the Torres hit, it was clean as a whistle. He didn't leave his feet until contact was made. Sadly the league will probably still give him a game suspension for that clean hit because of his previous record of suspensions/fines.

Horseshit.

I am a Blues fan, as you can probably guess by my posts, so I am no fan of the Blackhawks.  But that is a dirty hit.  Not the dirtiest we have seen in these playoffs, but still dirty.

He did leave his feet before contact was made.  It would be physically impossible to get airborn like than unless he launched himself before the hit.  He targeted the head.  The major point of contact was shoulder to face for God's sake.  The puck was gone.  It was charging.  It was interference.  It was dirty.

It could have been any number of penalties.  It should be a suspension.

I've watched it a couple more times and I do now agree it was on the dirty side. Not because of so-called interference (Hossa got caught admiring his pass) or charging or whatever, but simply because I do now see that he left his feet prior to the hit and it was to the chin. If it had been the exact same hit except shoulder to shoulder without leaving his feet I would call it clean as a whistle.
