I'm betting money that it is. Why would Activison change their release schedule just for Halo? If they were 1st parties, then sure, they'd have no choice. But this is a multiplatform release and COD games have come out on this same week each and every year. No reason why this would change now.

COD has a sort of winning formula. The release date is a huge part of that.

The release date has nothing to do with how successful COD is.

I'm sorry VGKing but yo_john is right here, COD could release on September 3rd, October 9th or whatever, it's still going to sell the same amount of copies that it would on Nov 6.

I kinda find it weird that somehow a lot of people have the mindset that Nov 6 is a date that should be exclusive for COD, and that MS and Activision are somehow "enemies" now, which is absurd considering the fact that they each make each other obscene amounts of money.
