Canada has around 20% fresh water reserves of the world and 7% of that is renewable. Water shortage will be a huge factor is some of the fast growing nations. The demand for clean drinking water should be seriously looked into. People just need reason to fight. First oil and than maybe water. At least with water one can understand a bit more. Yet I live right in between 3 of the biggest fresh water lakes and we have drought status every summer with watering bans. Not that those are bad. I never saw the point of wasting water to water the lawn, then spend gas to mow it. Nice crispy yellow lawn is fine.
