As half of England enters drought status, are we entering a global water crisis?

Yep we are supposedly in drought in London. This is mainly put down to overpopulation as someone has already said. Got a hosepipe ban too.. :/ before they used to fly a helicopter over to make sure people aren't using a hose, but now they fine you if your neighbour reports you to the council.
