Was Kaz in charge of the division when PSP Go, Playstation Move, and Vita were each being launched?  If so I don't have any faith in him being able to overcome the serious challenges facing Sony.

No, No and No.

1. PSP Go was just an experiment. Mainstream wasn't/will never be ready to download full games that could reach the 2gig mark, at least not without 4G and unlimited data.
2. PS Move was an accessory. I think it sold pretty well for one. It was never Sony's intention to turn the PS3 into a casual machine.
3. Don't think he was in charge during Vita launch, Japanese or Western.

Kaz was in charge of SCE -- Sony Computer Entertainment. So I would say that all those devices were released on his watch.

What is even more notable about Sony's lack of corporate synergy is something that most gamers on this site probably missed. The TV show Victorious (on Nickelodeon in the US) has a music deal with Sony Music. But its video game came out on only two platforms -- Xbox 360 and Nintendo DS.

I think that shows Sony's problems in a nutshell.

Mike from Morgantown

Who was right when he told the local Sony rep the PSP Go and the PS Move would not sell.

I am Mario.

I like to jump around, and would lead a fairly serene and aimless existence if it weren't for my friends always getting into trouble. I love to help out, even when it puts me at risk. I seem to make friends with people who just can't stay out of trouble.
