If this is a Vita game, I will kill somebody.

I really want this to be a proper, full God of War IV for PS3, because as much as I adored God of War III, the ending left a great deal to be desired. It didn't feel like the end of the story, and I'm not buying a PS Vita just to see the real ending.

It can be a Vita game AND not be an advancement of the story. There's always prequels and spinoffs.

A spinoff would be fine. A prequel on the other hand...

Well, the Vita isn't the most popular of systems, and you're depriving a lot of GoW fans of an important component of the story. And it probably won't be a system seller on any huge scale, either.

Well and the vita will never get popular if no games like God of War will release.

And for the sales. Its quite obvious that it will not have a 1 Million + weekend with such s small user base. But the user base will grow and so will God of War vita grow in sales.

You can not forget a new console, handheld always means less competition in the first 1+2 years of its lifetime. That means more sales for each game.

Than there is the bundling which is also a big factor for big sales. Think about games like Daxter, Ratchet and Clank Size Matter on PSP. Or Resistance and Motorstomr on PS3. They get bundled a very long time and as a result they all sell well over 3M woorldwide.

Resistance is an perfeckt example. It got bundled very heavily and sell over 3 m. resistance 2 gets less bundles and only sell over 2 m. And Resistance 3 only sell 1 million because of less bundling and heavy competition. You see bundling in the first years is very important.

Than not forget that the God of war Series has a big fanbase. That mean that a god of war game would boost PS vita sales by a big margin. Gamers like me would buy a vita for a god of war game.

Than lets not forget that the God of war series is a critically success as well and always has good word out of mouth. That always means good legs too.

Than lets not forget that a God of war game always gets big advertising ( not like smaller games)

Thats also a reason why the uncharted series has such great legs. It has strong word out of mouth and a great marketing campagne.

Another Example is Uncharted Golden Abyss. It has over 500k in sales right now ( without the online sales). Let it be on the market for 2 years and i bet with you that it will have 2-3 M Copies sold ( with bundling, word out of mouth, less competition)

And i expekt the same for a god of war vita game.

Yes, the Vita does need system sellers, but it's not a successor to the PS3, and the PS3 is still going strong, so a proper sequel to God of War 3 on Vita wouldn't really be a good idea. Look at what happened to Valkyria Chronicles 2.

Resistance: Fall of Man sold because it was the only good game on PS3 for a solid year, until Ratchet and Clank came out. The PS3's lineup was weak until as late as 2009, and the performance of the platform suffered because of it, so Sony is not going to make that mistake again. GoWVita will have competition.

Again, I have no problem with a God of War game being on Vita. I have a problem with God of War IV being on Vita.

Oh now i got you. Youre totally right. God of war 4 should be on the pS4 or PS3. But a God of war spin off should be on the vita.

PS: I dont think that Sony will release a Heavenly Sword sequel. Sure it will be nice, since i enjoy Heavenly Sword on my PS3 but a god of war game would be much better ( atleast sale wise)
