I think April will the lowest month for Vita since there is only like one game that is named and most known, that is Disgaea 3. It's not a system seller by any means, but that doesn't mean it's not a great game. The original game sold 240k, but the PS3 had a larger user base(the game released mid-2008).

May seems like a much better month, but not by much since 1) Mortal Kombat Vita is a port of the 2011 game and fighting games don't really do all that well on a handheld. 2) Resistance: Burning Skies might one of best selling titles based on the hype, but the series isn't well known and has gone down sales recently. It'll mostly likely do well regardless, but not all that great.

June almost the same as May. Gravity Rush well most likely do very well, but we don't know exactly since it's so far away and LittleBigPlanet may or not release in June. It might, plus it won't do as well as the PSP title because of the user base. Both titles will increase sales indeed.

So all in all, by the time June is over. The Vita might hit 3 or 4 million (not sure about Japan but Gundam and Persona 4 will increase sales as well, probably will reach 5 million) with the best of luck and more titles available to buy. Hopefully a price cut will come, but as of now it doesn't seem likely at all.
