Can't say I'm suprised about this (Even though we've gone two games without the flood now)
They were never as good a enemy species as the Covenant, sure they had canon, but in gameplay they just didn't compare.
Plus, it's a mofo Forerunner Dyson Sphere, how the hell would they get on there anyway? :)
