Never actually got hit, but was really close a couple of weeks ago. I was just starting to quickly jog past a Zebra crossing so that the incoming car wouldn't have to slow down, but then the old bastard (approximately 70 years old) accelerated! I almost had a freakin' heart attack and even had to go backwards to not get hit!
...but of course that's nothing compared to your story Spurge. Glad you made it!
