Im sorry, I didnt know Epic games made all those. Cause if they didnt....then that was pointless to bring up. Oh and Alan Wake 360 sold more then Alan Wake PC, they just said that PC sales surpassed the costs to port it, which werent much. Skyrim and Battlefield consoles much surpassed the PC versions. |
Now you're pulling facts out of nowhere. Don't use VGchartz as a proper gage for PC sales. This site only uses RETAIL sales, and not DIGITAL DOWNLOAD sales. Which digital download sales make up the majority of PC games sold. Skyrim sold 2.2 million retail copies, the PS3 sold only 3.5 million. Factor in the amount of digital downloaded copies of Skyrim, and the PS3 probably sold the exact same amount of copies as the PC did. I bought my copy of Battlefield 3 via digital download, as did many people I know. Also 1.86 million retail copies is nowhere near a disaster, factor in the digital downloads and you have a popular game. Many more people out there own consoles versus a high end gaming PC. So I can see why console sales would be higher. PC sold a HIGHER PERCENTAGE to user ratio than the consoles.
