#1 Vancouver Canucks VS # 8 Los Angeles Kings

I consider the kings to be lucky to have even made the playoffs this year. I say they finished strong, but they can also thank Colorado, Calgary, and most of all Dallas for collapsing and allowing them to be eaten alive by the killer whales. Their offense is one of the worst in the league with averaging only 2.29 goals per game and ranking fairly low on the power play at 17th in the league at %17.5. Even though the power play has been proven to be less important this year with all teams taking less of them, it still is a large factor come crunch time when many of the games will be close. As most who pay attention know, Jonathon Quick is LA’s reason for being here, but he is the shining jewel of an otherwise dull team. I expect the games to be close as that is the way the teams played each other most of the season with Vancouver edging out the kings going 2-1-1. Vancouver just has all the swagger going in and the only way I see them losing is by not playing to their full potential due to arrogance. They have one of the best offenses, solid defenses and two goalies that could steal games for them between Roberto Loungo and Corey Shneider. I predict the orcas will will easily defeat the Kings in five games.
