Prediction time!

Round 1:

East

New York vs Ottawa -> New York is going to massacre Ottawa, I predict NYR win in 4 or at worst 5 games

Boston vs Washington -> Boston is going to struggle, but pull through and beat Washington in 6 or 7 games. Tim Thomas will find his game partway through the series and be the hero

Florida vs New Jersey -> Florida is going to get murdered. They don't belong in the playoffs, only made it by being in a soft division. New Jersey in 4 or 5

Shittsburgh vs Philly -> Philly in 6 or 7 because Crosby isn't back to 100%. Bryzgalov will be the wild card though, if he struggles then Pitt will win, but if he plays well Philly will win. Either way I predict Philly wins.


West

Riotcouver vs LA -> UPSET! LA wins in 6 games. Jon Quick is gonna be too damn fast, and Luongo is gonna choke as always. The Sedin sisters are going to be kept as a non-factor because they don't have what it takes to win in the big games.

Saint Louis vs San Chokese -> Saint Louis proves they aren't just a fluke. STL wins in 5 or 6. Elliott stays rock solid.

The Mighty Coyotes of Phoenix vs Shitcago (sorry Amp) -> Phoenix wins thanks to the might of Mike Smith and the scoring touch of Radim Vrbata. Phoenix wins in 6. Pat Kane is too busy punching cab drivers and getting drunk between games to practice so he is held as a non-factor.

Nochanceville vs Detroit -> Detroit wins in 6. Nashville is a good team, but Detroit proves they don't have to be at the Joe to win.
