It can be argued both ways. From a pure theoretical point of view..yes ps3 is more powerfull. But realistically it isnt, and it definately isnt when it comes to game development. The only technical advantage the ps3 has is blueray.

Realistically, it is. There are games out there that take full advantage of the Cell.

 


Sorry to break it to you but these games can be done on the 360 and look almost exactly the same :)

There is no significant difference between the PS3 and the 360 when it comes to cpu/gpu processing power. This is not my opinion it is a fact. So dont reply.

The difference in power is significant enough for a PS3 exclusive to have taken the most 'best console graphics' awards for 4 years in a row. 

Also regarding Gears 3 looking so similar to UC3 that it only matters which console you own, why did UC3 completely sweep the best graphics awards that year? I mean completely.

Except it is... just like the group of people or person who awarded the game the best looking.

Nope, the fact is that a PS3 exclusive has won the most 'best console graphics of the year' awards for 4 years in a row.

Of course, that's based on opinion, but collective opinions of professional critics that have played all the nominees across all platforms every year, not from just some schmuck like me on a random internet forum :)
