Sorry to break it to you but these games can be done on the 360 and look almost exactly the same :)

There is no significant difference between the PS3 and the 360 when it comes to cpu/gpu processing power. This is not my opinion it is a fact. So dont reply.

I disagree.

The difference in power isn't very significant, but it's still there.

SONY giving lots of money to their 1st party developers isn't an excuse as to why PS3 exclusives look better either. A game like Gears of War 3 gets just as much time and attention as a game like Uncharted 3. And if the PS3 is harder to code for, shouldn't it be the PS3 games that have the potential to look better?

Thats what i said though "There is no significant difference between the PS3 and the 360".

Quite a few people like gears 3 over U3 in terms of visuals...based on my experiences xbox fans will prefer gears, and PS fans will prefer U3 (like me ). But lets be honest both the games are beautiful...and technically speaking theres not much of a difference between the games.

And also the thing about being hard to code for...all that means is that its hard to code for (to my knowledge).

I think some people took my intial comment the wrong way though...when i made the comment about the perception of the PS3 power here in my country. People here think that there is a significant gap. Which both technically and realistically speaking is rubbish.

There is a significant gap though. You just dont see it that often. If all devs were as talented as Naughty Dog then we'd have more multplats near the level of Uncharted or Gears. Oh and most multiplat games are made on 360 and ported to PS3. Why do you think that is? It's because if its made on PS3 then ported to 360 there is a risk of doing TOO much with the PS3 therefore making a lot of sacrifices for the 360 version.

Devs take the easy way out by making for 360 and porting to the harder platform(PS3).
