VGKing I have heard Nintendo will be allowing other stores then eShop like service. I'm not sure if those stores will be inside Nintendo's store or separate. Nintendo will obviously be charging EA for every purchase much like it does with any other service. But I have heard rumors that Nintendo was interested in Origin and Steam and other digital stores. How Nintendo would bring them to WiiU I do not know. But if Nintendo did get them over it could be a massive advantage to Nintendo.

It really seems Nintendo is turning WiiU into the ultimate gaming device currently on the market. By opening up online enabling MMO's and RTS and F2P and if the rumors have any truth opening it up to Steam or Origin. Nintendo would be taking on PC and the home game systems in a direct confrontation.

I could see Nintendo's open network policy being a major selling feature for both consumers and developers. Live and PSN would need to open up their networks more to compete. Even if Sony and MS could blow Nintendo out of the water visually. If Nintendo can win over developers for online services and offer consumers everything a PC currently offers (Game wise) as well as every Nintendo usually offers console wise. Nintendo could really maintain its lead as king. People will pay good money for the console.
