Doesn't make it any less likely that billions of people won't continue to do it, even if they're aware that they're perpetuating and encouraging a scam.

The amount of pollution that is created in order to create the electrical power to run electric cars is just as bad/worse than having a gas guzzler vehicle. (At least in the USA, not necessarily Europe). Interesting, isn't it? We really need to figure out our future energy plan.

Absolutely, I couldn't agree more.  Too many people have their head in the sand, assuming "green" means no pollution.
