Umm this thread was not just about a flag appearing in a game. You should really reread the OP. Its about characters and settings. Pokemon is set in Japan basically and the characters are all pretty much Japanese the culture the attitude the whole game screams Japan. Which is what this thread is about diversifying games using the developers nationality and pride to create unique international content that will appeal to everyone. A hundred American games each year is simply stupid.
