The previous hitman games are pretty awesome... but the controls have always kind of sucked (atleast on PC)... hopefully if they fix it, that's what they mean for "broader audience."

A lot of people said deus ex was going to be shooter heavy based on the look of the trailers, and if anything it ended up being stealth heavy.

Deus Ex is probably one of the few games that hasn't been drastically dumbed down. Most of the times, we have a case like Socom 4 or Splinter Cell: Conviction where the games become extremely linear.
