some use of common sense would benefit this thread

1. the ps3 and x360 tech are 6 years old and are still selling at the current price they are now. if the tech inside the wii u is to be more powerfull than the ps3 and the x360, then expect the price to be significantly highter

2. the controller is a tablet, which would mean that it would cost a whole lot more than a standard controller, a crapy china tablet can go for $50 or so but its crappy as hell. if Nintendo expects the tablet controller to perform like a decent tablet, expect the price to go up by $80-$150 more.

the way is see it there are two scenarios
1. price point is competitive and comparable to the ps3 and x360, expect the wii u to be at most just as powerfull as the current hd twins and it will still be more expensive due to the tablet controller.

2. wii u to be more powerfull than the current hd twins, then expect it to be way way more expensive due to the newer tech and the tablet controller.

Either way it rolls, people will go "damn its too damn expensive" or "what? its just the same as the ps360? and still more expensive?"
