Kinect games may look like shovelware, but they're actually not. It's very fun to play even the most bad rated games, especially with other people. The only problem is that this fun hardly continues for a long time.

I'm kinda excited for this game, pretty sure it'll at least last more than other games and will possess the same kind of fun as other kinect titles. The kinda fun you don't care how accurate the game is or how responsive its controls are, it's just fun. And that fun is what the techical-review system we have today hates.

saying that game reviewers don't like fun is terribly misrepresentitive.  you say your self, "..don't care how accurate the game is or how responsive its controls are".  If you are into that kind of fun way even bother playing a video game....waggle your fist around to a youtube video of fireworks if all you are looking for is positve reenforcement to spastic movements.

what i, and the rest of the core, are looking for is an actual game.  you know, one where the controller inputs actually have some relevance to the on screen action.  that's what i consider fun.  not the "here's a gold star for trying" BS you give to young children.

I don't think this kind of fun applies to all games.  I don't thnk it applies to the majority of games, in fact. And I had a lot of prejudice against Kinect before, and by a lot I mean it. But lately my neighbor and my brother bought kinect, and we laugh a lot (a lot) every single time we play anything on it, even demos of "crap" games. It's fun sometimes, you should try it, maybe it'll grow on you too, Mr. Core.
