As for Sea's direction I think it is stupid. It would appear Sega is downsizing in hopes its strong IP will bring then company into the next generation. I do believe all of those titles will sell but am afraid Sega is no longer in a position to grow.

If I were Sega I would be green lighting everything for WiiU today. I would only bring Sonic to the next generation Sony and Ms Systems. The smart publishers that struggled last generation did not jump onto PS3 for two years. Those that were foolish enough to jump early died.

As Sega I would maintain all of my current operations internally. All third party titles would receive cuts in funding. I would likely invest a 100 mill in purchasing new studios and bringing some state of the art WiiU titles to the market.

Sega and UbiSoft and Majesco all greatly benefitted last generation by focusing on the lower Dev cost system to make the majority of their money. The Wii offset every loss they took and helped the publishers survive.

If I was Sega I would keep 90% of my projects on WiiU and/or 360/PS3. With only Sonic on the new Sony and Microsoft systems.I would bring the Total War franchise to WiiU along with every other IP. Sega is not in a position to make a broad jump to next generation as I am pretty positive they plan on doing.
