Regarding your point about 3rd parties here, you're right, I'll give you that.  But to say Wii didn't dictate the gen "in any way shape or form"?  Move and Kinect say, "Hi".  The Wii was never meant to eradicate traditional gameplay, but rather to expand the market and attract people with different gameplay types, in which it handily succeeded.

And concerning your past posts, if you really think that the 3DS' lead or the fact that Nintendo have secured Monster Hunter means nothing, you're in for a rude awakening.  To say that people will suddenly disregard the 3DS versions for Vita versions is highly erroneous.  The best Sony can hope for is that the Vita versions do well alongside their 3DS counterparts.  Japan has seemingly welcomed Monster Hunter with open arms on the 3DS, which will be further evidenced when MH4 releases.  In any case, Sony has lost exclusivity of a franchise that was key to their prior success in the most important market for portable game systems, and it's unquestionably a serious blow.
