Already made a thread about it! http://gamrconnect.vgchartz.com/thread.php?id=141687&page=1# Anyway, a slim model or a price cut will definetly help the system, but when will it release, how long that effect would last, and how large the effect would be are questionable. E3 will only tell what Sony has plan for the system. |
Yeah, there's been loads of threads about it (I made one I believe just before Vita Heaven), it's something that won't go away, until it's released...
@Logic- How can a 15mil lead be irrelevant? It just...can't be. And I'm talking specifically about Monster Hunter as well, nothing to do with anything else on either system. My point is, with so many sales and an established base on the console, it won't become irrevelant if released on another console, the only possible slip in sales would be from the Vita game.
I don't understand what else I can say to make this any clearer...

same way the wii 30 million lead was irrelevant
COD is the highest selling franchise on the 360 and ps3 and how important is it on the wii, think GTA on PSP vs DS

The problem here is that Call of Duty on Wii is inferior for reasons other than graphics or hardware processing power. I do not doubt that Capcom is bringing their A-game with Monster Hunter Tri G, and that any Vita Monster Hunter would merely be prettier, but that would be the end of it, whereas because of massive third party developer conspiracy (mtpdc), Nintendo versions of these games are severely gimped in ways that often don't make sense, with whole play modes dropped from rotation. Madden works as an example here as well.
