Nippon Ichi recently released the System Prisma-developed 2D dungeon crawler, Labyrinth Tower Legacista, in Japan. Think of it as a high-res Class of Heroes style game with randomly generated dungeons and a 2D top-down view for the PlayStation 3.

Today, NIS America announced that this game is headed to North America, simply titled Legasista. One of Legasista’s more interesting features is that it can import images on your PlayStation 3 to create playable in-game characters. Characters can be customized both with regard to equipment and job classes.

Legasista will be released sometime in August. It will be a download title on the PlayStation Network. A price for the game hasn’t been announced yet.

Mugen Souls, Compile Heart’s next game with lolis is headed to North America and Europe. NIS America announced that they have Mugen Souls lined up for release on the PlayStation 3 in the US and PAL regions this fall.

NIS America’s release of the game will be censored, they note. Due to “the sensitive nature of some content,” certain aspects of the US/EU versions of the game will be edited.

What is Mugen Souls? It’s a turn-based role-playing game with “Moe Kills,” which can be used to enslave enemies and turn them into items. Mugen Souls also allows you to customize your characters, including their body parts, facial expressions and job classes.

Nippon Ichi’s next major non-Disgaea game is The Witch and the Hundred Knights. While the game was supposed to release this June in Japan, NIS recently announced that it had been delayed to “sometime in 2012”. Regardless of when it comes out in Japan, North America and Europe will get to play it next year.

The Witch and the Hundred Knights is an action RPG developed by the Prinny team, and features a knight that can turn into a hundred others. This knight can be good or evil, and you’ll even be able to attack innocent NPCs if you so choose. Nippon Ichi call it an open-ended dark fantasy game.

The Witch and the Hundred Knights is slated for US/EU release in early 2013.

It seems that two of the three have been announced for NA and EU (Legasista being the only one not yet). I'm kind of saddened that Legasista will be download only, but it's to be expected considering the game looks like an enhanced port of the Cladun titles on PSP (but I'm happy it's coming over here).
