I was going to answer voice acting. But as a joke, because it was so embarrassing. Just like any other PS1 game that attempted German voice acting. Although Metal Gear Solid still takes the cake, because the backlash was so huge that Konami kept the following games in English. Anyway, I liked Alundra 2. Of course, you need to accept that it is a big step down from the first game in order to enjoy it, because it's clearly worse in every area. |
It was a good VA for the PSX times, which is as you say, not much to look at, given the examples of that era. Personally, I was dissapointed with the game, mostly because it was indeed a step down from the first game. I didn't mind it's change for a more action RPG focus, but clearly everything was done for the worst, especially when it comes to the story part.
You can't create a game whose original story revolves around a character (Alundra) and then go "Well, let's disregard everything about Alundra (the character and it's story) and create a whole new story and background but still call it the same, because we need a carrot in a stick to lure the fans of the previous game into this".
