The news here I guess is the decline of RIM. We will wait to see if the blade breathes new life into the brand but I doubt it.
Windows Phone will likely pick up with the Nokia launch as this has been the trend in other territories and as the 900 is a pretty sweet phone and pandas to the LTE/4G brigade should see it sell well. Nokia do know how to throw a party thats for sure.
The Windows Phone is also penetrating China and some would say that is a more interesting territory especially as they have low end devices to compete with Android. With plans to carry high and low devices on all Chinese carriers this year that is an awful lot of phone users...
