My definition is unrelevant.

It's easier to determine the gen with use of the time of console-release, that's for sure. But i can understand why some people like to call Wii last gen and WiiU this gen, or PS360 leaped a gen, i don't know.

I am just afraid to not understand if this or that gen is the one we're talking about in a few years.
