That's a silly reason not to buy. If you're computer is already online, who cares?
I'll probably still buy it. I know I've had zero issues with Civ5 that has the same type of rule. I just think too many people cry about too many things.
This anti-piracy solution is far better than a rootkit. Granted, I think the key code was just fine and more than enough to limit piracy to only the worst offenders.
