Come to think of it, I withdraw that part of my statement. Reason is, the PS3 can output 1080p but no game runs native on it. So I guess the PS4 can output that resolution but It wont have games running native at that res. Bottomline, the majority of PS4's will be connected to 720/1080 tv's anyway.
