Pair this with engine outsourcing from the likes of ND and you have yourself a fairly attractive developer environment compared to the PS3. i expect sony to push especially this.
they always want to push things like dvd(ps2) or Bluray and 3d and hdtvs(ps3) the next logical step especially as a company that produces all that stuff and has a big movie production is supporting 4k resoltion probably coupled with 100gb blu ray discs which could(?) support the resolution(not sure if possible).
