Probably 99% of the time although Street Pass did have me carrying around a 3DS for the first few months following its release. Not to play games so much as to collect coins, Miis and puzzle pieces before I lost track of why I was collecting those things in the first place.
The PSV is usually in my bag these days since I like using the browser more than the iPhone's and also for Near/Game Goods, although those have already gotten pretty old.
First and foremost, I buy portables for the games and those are played almost universally at home or in bed before falling asleep.
They still make good travelling companions though.
